Chamonix’s guest lodge suffered extensive damage during the raging Franschhoek fires during the week-end of 9 January. The guest lodge will therefore not be re-opening for the foreseeable future. Fortunately, the Chamonix wine-tasting venue and Arkeste Restaurant – nor the cellar and vineyards were affected by this event. Here it is business as usual. We would like to thank all those who have reached out to express concern, and are glad to say that damage is limited.
